Who's on call?
A monthly retainer that gives your app what it's been missing since launch: a named engineering team that ships your releases, watches your systems, and answers when something breaks. Built for AI-built apps, small products, and teams without full-time engineers.
From USD 2,200/month · three-month minimum, monthly after · any stack
02:14 — payment webhook failing. Alert reached us first; fixed by 02:47, before any customer noticed.
3 releases — two features, one fix. Every one through staging before it touched your users.
17 dependency updates applied, including 2 security patches you never had to think about.
Uptime, costs, and risks summarised — walked through with you on a 30-minute call.
Three ways teams end up here.
"The person who built it isn't around anymore."
An AI tool, a freelancer, or a co-founder who's moved on. The app runs — but nobody truly owns it, and everyone quietly knows it.
"Every change feels like a gamble."
Updates pile up because touching the system is scary. The longer you wait, the scarier it gets. That spiral has a bottom, and it's not a good one.
"I'm the founder and the ops team."
Bug reports land on you at 11pm. You built something people rely on — which means it's time the pager belonged to someone whose job it is.
If any of these sounded like your week —
that's exactly the situation this retainer exists for.

Three-month minimum, monthly after that. Each tier's scope is fixed — anything beyond it is agreed as a change order before work starts, so you will never receive a surprise invoice.
We take the keys properly.
Assess & hand over
We assess the system, map its risks and agree the operating plan. Then we set up least-privilege access, monitoring, alerting, staging and a written runbook — so we know when we are ready to own it.
Plan, run & ship
We agree the next priorities, work through the monthly allocation, and release through staging. Maintenance, updates, fixes and the features that matter keep moving at a cadence that fits your team.
Stay ahead of issues
When an alert fires, our team responds within the target set by your tier. Each month, your health report and a 30-minute call make uptime, costs, risks and what changed clear.
Leaving must be easy — that's the point.
Your accounts, your code, your runbooks, in your name from day one. We work inside your systems, not ours, so there is nothing to hand back and nothing held hostage. A partner you could fire without pain is the only kind worth keeping — and it keeps us honest about earning the renewal every month.
The four questions everyone asks.
Do you only look after apps PixiTech built?+
No — most of the apps we take on were built by someone else: an AI tool, a freelancer, a past team. Onboarding exists precisely so an unfamiliar system becomes a documented one. If the codebase has serious unknowns, we'll recommend starting with a Production Audit so both of us know what we're signing up for.
Who exactly works on my app?+
A named engineering lead plus the engineers assigned to your account — the same people month after month, under NDA, with least-privilege access. Continuity is the product: your team knows your system's history, not just its code.
What counts as an incident versus a feature?+
If something that worked yesterday is broken today, that's an incident — covered by your tier's response time. New capabilities come from your tier's monthly development hours. Anything bigger than the hours cover becomes a scoped, fixed-price piece of work you approve first.
Can we pause or cancel?+
Three-month minimum, then it's month to month. Offboarding is documented and everything stays yours — we'd rather earn the renewal than lock the door. Many clients scale down to Solo during quiet periods instead of leaving entirely; that's fine too.
Hand over the pager.
Tell us about your app on a 20-minute call. We'll tell you honestly which tier fits — or whether you'd be better off starting with a one-off audit instead.
